Payment information
Payment for my services comes in two parts. Once we have agreed to a package, time and date, I ask that you pay a deposit to confirm your booking. Ideally through Wise, but PayPal/Credit Card works too. I will send you a payment link once we have agreed on the payment method.
The remaining amount is due at the time of your shoot/tour.
- Cash on the spot works fine it’s often the easiest option (no fees).
- If you have an account with Wise and can pay me instantly that way, it’s my preferred option (no fees).
- PayPal or Credit Card works too, but in that case I ask that we add 5% to the total amount to cover all the associated fees.
- If you prefer to pay via regualar bank transfer, that can also be arranged. In that case I ask that you cover all fees and also that you notify me ahead of time so that we can set it up, as bank transfer tends to take a few days to complete.
PS: If you don’t have an account with Wise, I highly recommend that you get one, as their currency exchange rates and fees are some of the lowest you can get — read more about them here. After signing up (free), you will get a virtual card in your phone that you can use at all shops accepting tap to pay in Japan and the rest of the world.
For transpency: Wise a service I’ve used personally in several countries and that I’m a big fan of, since they have helped me save substantially on international currency exchange and transfer fees throughout the years I’ve been using them.
